Julie Chen Moonves is the host of Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS 5 August 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator, and was one of the original hosts on The Talk. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work. Her true love was when she added writing to her duties, and was awarded an Emmy for this. She also won the Emmy for hosting, and an award-winning television talkshow. She co-hosted the CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 and 2010. Prior to this, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor, and also the news anchor on The Early Show. She was sent to Cairo after 9/11 and conducted an exclusive and riveting interview with the father of the primary hijacker. Chen Moonves's interviews include newsmakers like former New York City City mayor Rudy Giuliani; Queen Rania Jordanian, William Cohen (former Defense Secretary) as well as celebrities such as Denzel Washington. In her final year of University, she served as an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and served as the producer of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). As a desk assistant, she worked to ABC News' Nightline program featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel has remained as one of her journalist idols. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special that explored the 1992 Los Angeles riots, worked in conjunction with Koppel.
